Getting Started
This guide walks you from a fresh workstation to your first completed compliance analysis in six short steps. Follow them in order — each page ends with a link to the next.
- Prerequisites — confirm you have a supported workstation, an azuma account, an AI model connection, and a code + data directory.
- Installation — download, install, and sign in to the desktop app.
- Choose a Plan — understand the Free and Standard plans and license the compliance policies you need.
- Create a Project — point nori at your source code, choose a compliance policy, and configure your AI models.
- Run an Analysis — pick your workflow (Discovery & Analysis or Analysis-Only), start a run, tune depth and budget, and add external evidence.
- Review Results — read the overall score and per-control findings, trace the evidence, and export a report.
You do not have to hold the order in your head. A project shows a short setup checklist of what is done and what is next — model, workspace, profile, wiki, first analysis — linking straight to each outstanding step, and it disappears once the project is fully set up. Steps that do not apply to your project are left out: an Analysis-Only project builds no wiki, for example.
Because every project needs a model before it can index or analyse anything, nori will not let you start creating one until you have added an AI model — and says so where you click, with a link to add one.
