Getting Started
This guide walks you from a fresh workstation to your first completed compliance analysis in five short steps. Follow them in order — each page ends with a link to the next.
- Prerequisites — confirm you have a supported workstation, an azuma account, an AI model connection, and a code + data directory.
- Installation — download, install, and sign in to the desktop app.
- Create a Project — point nori at your source code, choose a compliance policy, and configure your AI models.
- Run an Analysis — pick your workflow (Discovery & Analysis or Analysis-Only), start a run, tune depth and budget, and add external evidence.
- Review Results — read the overall score and per-control findings, trace the evidence, and export a report.
New to the terminology?
If terms like policy, control, finding, or Wiki are unfamiliar, skim the Glossary first — it defines the core concepts used throughout these docs.
Running headless or in CI?
Most users start with the interactive desktop app above. If you plan to run nori without a UI (for example in a pipeline), see Authentication for API-key setup.
